All vehicles parking on University land are required to display either a current valid parking permit or a valid metered parking ticket. Parking Areas and parking bays are clearly marked and require vehicles to be parked within marked bays in accordance with permit/ticket entitlements. Breaches of LAND AND TRAFFIC BY-LAWS will be strictly enforced and may result in the issue of infringement notices and the payment of a penalty.

To be fair to permit holders, we must issue infringement notices. If there are genuine circumstances explaining your infringement you can appeal your fine online.

PAYMENT AND APPEAL OF INFRINGEMENTS

All fines must be paid within seven days of the infringement being issued, unless an Appeal Form (available online or via PDF download) has been lodged at the Parking and Traffic Office. You will be notified of the result of the appeal within 14 days. An unsuccessful appeal must be paid within 14 days of notification with no further penalty than the original fine. Failure to pay infringement fees can result in academic sanctions and/or drivers licence suspension. Any court fees incurred (including debt collection fees) will be included in the final infringement cost.
